About
Nu Review
The popular blog site justelliot has now fully transferred to NU Review - the all new theatre review site. We write short reviews on every kind of live performance: comedy, dance, drama, music and of course musical theatre. Gigs and shows are the passion of our writers, and each review gives a personal perspective as well as a complete overview of the whole production.
On our quickly growing site, as well as read reviews, you can find many more features on the ‘Extras’ page, and you can also check out Nu Review’s Top 3 Online Games on our 'Games' page. You can also read about the reviewers below (in the 'About’ section) and have the chance to become a Volunteer Guest Reviewer and have a review published on the site - through an online application process.
We hope that NU Review will feed people information about the theatrical arts, and continue to promote the very best productions. This is a website that should be on anyone's favourites bar!

I have a love for all things theatre, and attend many musicals, plays, ballets and gigs; in London and the rest of the country. As a performer myself, Musical Theatre has been at the core of my life for many years, it has shaped the way I see the world, and given me a rare opportunity to create multiple identities. The thing that has always fascinated me, is the actors ability to create another world onstage, and use that world to tackle any form of problems both real and fictional, sometimes gaining contrasting reactions from the audience. I find it interesting to see how live theatre has developed and grown into the huge industry it is today, and I believe it gives us a priceless escape from the fast pace of modern life, and entertains us with unique portrayals of characters and stories. Each of my reviews gives a short insight into the performance, and depicts my own personal opinion, so feel free to leave a comment and have your say!
